Ben Spike is a senior research associate in the laboratory of Dr. Geoffrey M. Wahl at the Salk Institute of Biological Studies. He is currently interested in establishing a group that integrates single cell functional genomics with molecular genetic models and computational approaches to understand the function and extent of cellular heterogeneity in stem cells and stem cell driven systems. Dr. Spike holds B.A., B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from UC San Diego. He received his Ph.D. with distinction from the University of Chicago, Department of Biomedical Sciences in 2007.
