Heather Ames is a PhD candidate in the Department of Cognitive and Neural Systems at Boston University. Her current academic research interests focus on speech modeling. Ames is actively involved in CELEST and has been the president of the CELEST Student and Postdoc Organization since 2006.

Max Versace is the Senior Resaerch Scientist in the Department of Cognitive and Neural Systems at Boston University. He is the Co-Principal Investigator and Senior Investigator in the DARPA SyNAPSE project. His research is focused on neural networks. Versace is also involved in technology initiatives in CELEST.
