Thomas Palmeri is Associate Professor of Psychology and Director of Graduate Studies in the Department of Cognition and Cognitive Neuroscience at Vanderbilt University. His research is focused on how people visually categorize, identify, and recognize objects. He is particularly interested in the temporal dynamics of visual object recognition. Palmeri's lab approaches these questions using behavioral experiments, cognitive neuroscience techniques and comutational and neural modeling.
