Stem Cell Meeting on the Mesa 2015

Each year, the La Jolla Torrey Pines Mesa region leads California in grants and funding from the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine (CIRM), making it the ideal location to host the Stem Cell Meeting on the Mesa Scientific Symposium – a full-day meeting that draws together pioneers from San Diego and beyond who are responsible for advancing research into cures for debilitating diseases and injuries. This Symposium, now in its 10th year, attracts leading scientists, clinicians, life science business executives, patient advocates and government officials, with the aim of examining the imminent scientific and ethical challenges facing cell and gene therapy research today. The format is designed around panel discussions exploring topics ranging from basic science to revolutionary techniques and includes keynote presentations from world renowned researchers.
