Dr. Marc Schwartz is Professor at University of Texas, Arlington and founding director of the Southwest Center for Mind, Brain and Education, which focuses on identifying and supporting promising research agendas at the intersection of neuroscience and cognitive science to inform educational practice and leadership. In addition to K-12 science education, his work focuses on the development of collaborative relationships, such as research schools. Dr. Schwartz is the president (2010-2012) of the International Mind, Brain, and Education Society (IMBES).
