Terry Jernigan is director of the Center for Human Development and director of the Coordinating Center for Pediatric Imaging, Neurocognition, and Genetics (PING) Study at the University of California, San Diego. Her research focuses on brain maturation and aging, the neural effects of HIV-infection, substance abuse, and MRI screenings. Professor Jernigan also practices clinical neuropsychology and supervises neuropsychology trainees in the San Diego VA Healthcare System.
