Lera Boroditsky is an Assistant Professor of Cognitive Psychology in the Department of Psychology at Stanford University. Her research is focused on mental representation, language acquisition, learning, meaning and use including metaphoric structuring, conceptual development and conceptual change. Boroditsky was recently awarded the 2010 McDonnell Scholar Award.
