Colin Blakemore is a Professor of Neuroscience at the University of Oxford. He also holds Professorship at the University of Warwick and the Duke University- National University of Singapore Graduate Medical School and is Chairman of Singapore's Neuroscience Research Partnership. Blakemore has been a Fellow of the Royal Society since 1992 and the Academy of Medical Sciences. He has been involved in the public communication of science as a frequent broadcaster on radio and television and has published a number of books including Mechanics of the Mind, and Vision: Coding and Efficiency.
