Andrew Dillin is an Associate Professor and Pioneer Developmental Chair in the Molecular and Cell BIology Laboratory at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies. His research is focused on using C. elegans to study the process of aging by looking at the hormone insulin. Insulin does not only play a role in diabetes, but also controls many other physiological aspects in the worm's body.
