A conversation with Sir Chris Llewellyn Smith


 

Sir Chris Llewellyn Smith was the Director General of CERN from 1994 to 1998, former Chairman of Oxford Physics, served as Provost and President of University College London and was Director of UKAEA CUlham. He received the Glazebrook medal and Prize of the Institute of Physics and was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society. He is currently the President of the Council of SESAME (Synchrotron light for Experimental Science and its Applications in the Middle East) and Vice President of the Royal Society.
