Kenneth Chien is the Director of the Cardiovascular Research Center at Massachusetts General Hospital, and Professor in the Department of Cell Biology at Harvard Medical School. He is a member of the Harvard Stem Cell Institute and was awarded the chair of the Charles Addison and Elizabeth Ann Sanders Professor of Medicine. Dr. Chien has been awarded the Pasarow Foundation Award and the Walter B. Cannon Award of the American Physiological Society.
